Care and Discipleship

“For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.”  Romans 15:4

This verse represents the heart of biblical care at Redeemer. The Care and Discipleship ministry at Redeemer exists to offer help and hope to those who are struggling or suffering due to life's hardships. Our Care and Discipleship Mentor Team is made up of lay-people who have been transformed by the power of the gospel and who are willing to come alongside others “So that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” (2 Cor. 1:4)

The Care and Discipleship Mentors are followers of Christ who wholeheartedly believe that "All scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness." (2 Tim. 3:16). Mentors are trained and equipped to disciple others through the hope found in the gospel. They will listen and pray with you, as well as encourage you from the Word of God.
