Scripture

Holy Scripture, being God's own Word, written by men, inspired by the Holy Spirit, is of infallible divine authority in all matters upon which it touches.

"All Scripture is inspired by God, and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." - 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Trinity

There are three persons in the one true and living God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are the same in substance, equal in power and glory.

"but their minds were hardened.  For to this day, at the reading of the old covenant,  the same veil remains; it is not lifted, because it is set aside only in Christ." - 2 Corinthians 3:14

Creation

God created all things by His powerful Word, and all his creation was very good.

"God saw all that he had made, and it was very good indeed.  Evening came and then morning: the sixth day." - Genesis 1:31

Sinfulness of Man

Since sin entered the world, no mere human has been able to keep the law of God. We have rebelled against Him, and deserve eternal death in hell.

"as it is written: There is no one righteous, not even one. There is no one who understands; there is no one who seek God. All have turned away; all alike have become worthless. There is no one who does what is good, not even one. . . for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:10-12, 23

Supremacy of Christ

Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, the long-awaited King who came to live a perfect and powerful life, to die a sacrificial and substitutionary death, and to rise from the grave in victory over sin, Satan, and death.

"He himself bore our sins  in his body  on the tree; so that, having died to sins, we might live for righteousness.  By his wounds, you have been healed." - 1 Peter 2:24

Repentance

God calls all people in all nations to repent and believe in Jesus for the forgiveness of sins, trusting in Him alone as Lord of one's life.

“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” - Mark 1:15

Hope in Life and Death

All who trust in Jesus are raised to new life in this world and to everlasting life in the world to come. They will live with and enjoy God, forever free from all sin, and will inhabit resurrection bodies in a restored creation.

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. I also saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband. Then I heard a loud voice from the throne: Look, God's dwelling is with humanity, and he will live with them. They will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them and will be their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death with be no more; grief, crying, and pain will be no more, because this previous things have passed away." - Revelation 21:1-4
