Our Mission
Show! Grow! Go!
Redeemer Kids exists to see the gospel transform the next generation. Our goal is to partner with parents to help their children know and follow Jesus Christ by:
- Showing children the love of Jesus by creating a fun, inviting, and safe environment.
- Giving kids the tools to grow in faith - not just moral lessons.
- Equipping kids to go and tell others about Jesus.
We believe that only the power of the gospel can change children, families, neighborhoods, and schools in Tomball and beyond.
What to Expect on Sundays
At Redeemer, we teach every age-level Biblical truths through Bible stories, songs, crafts, and games. We encourage our children to memorize scripture, bring their Bibles, and actively participate in the lesson. On Sunday mornings, we offer classes for kids spanning from birth to 6th grade.
9 am & 11am Service Times
All parents must check in their children at our check-in kiosks, so please arrive a few minutes prior to the beginning of class time. For assistance, ask any of our Kids Check In Attendants, usually in a Redeemer Kids T-shirt, at or near the check in table.
Once a month, typically on the last Sunday of the month, we have a family service. Children who are 1st-6th grade join their parents in the main worship service. Classes are available for Birth-Kindergarten.

Sunday Morning FAQs
What should I bring for my child?
Children from birth to potty training should have a diaper bag or backpack that is clearly labeled. This bag should include plenty of diapers or pull-ups, wipes, weather-appropriate change of clothes, snacks (for children with allergies), a sippy cup or bottle that is clearly labeled, or any formula or breast milk that may be needed.
How do I check-in and check-out my child?
Check-in kiosks are at the entrance to the Redeemer Kids hallway, on the left-hand side. You will check-in your child on Sunday mornings at the children's ministry kiosks and your child will receive a nametag for that week with a unique security code. You will also receive a security tag which you must show to the teacher when picking up your child. This ensures the most secure environment for your child.
What if my child has special needs?
We are more than willing to do whatever we can to help our children with special needs have a wonderful experience in our children's ministry classes and events. For children with low-support needs, we offer a "buddy system" so they can participate in their age-appropriate classroom. For children with moderate/high-support needs, we have a designated sensory room that enables them to play and engage with the lesson in a low stimulation, individualized environment.
If you are attending for the first time with a child who has additional needs, please contact our Children's Minister so we can make sure we have a plan in place to best support your child. We want every child at Redeemer to have the tools and environment they need to thrive.
If your child has an allergy, please include this information as you check your child in the first time, and the information will be printed out on his/her label whenever he/she is checked in.
Curriculum
Our church leadership guards vigilantly against mere moralism when selecting a curriculum for our children's ministry. We strive to preach Christ alone, and prayerfully search for the most Christ-centered, God-glorifying curriculum.
Babies and walkers (birth-2) will be engaged in play and interact with our volunteers with singing songs, reading bible stories and exploring their environment. 2's class will learn the simple, foundational truths of who God is and what Jesus did for them on the cross using Truth78 "Sure Foundation" curriculum.
Children ages 3 through 6th grade are going through The Biggest Story Curriculum, which features 104 Bible lessons that focus on helping children understand God's plan to redeem the world through his Son, Jesus.
We Partner With Parents
According to the Bible, parents have the primary responsibility for teaching children about God (Deu. 6:6-9). We want to equip parents to pray and plan for the spiritual development of their kids. Therefore, we strive to build good relationships between our teachers and parents, and equip parents with classes, materials, and encouragement to build a Christ-centered family.
