Meet Our Elders, Staff, and Deacons

ELDERS

The Elders serve the church as the primary pastors/shepherds of the church. We see this as the biblical model put forward in 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1, and 1 Peter 5. The Elders lead the church through teaching, prayer, counseling, and setting the ministry direction. They are called to do so as humble servants, in the pattern of Jesus who came to serve rather than to be served.

DEACONS

The Deacons at Redeemer function as lead servants. They seek to assist the Elders both as key servants within the body, but also by encouraging the members of Redeemer to serve as well. A healthy church will see many people using their gifts to serve inside and outside of the church. Our deacon teams focus particularly on the categories listed below.
